Interest in Jarrod Bowen is beginning to intensify as several leading Premier League clubs keep a close eye on West Ham United’s uncertain position heading into the final stretch of the season.

Both Chelsea and Liverpool, along with Manchester United, are weighing up potential moves for the England international. Rival sides are aware that West Ham may be forced into major player sales if relegation becomes reality, with the club expected to need well over £100m in income should they fall into the Championship.

Bowen has emerged as one of the standout performers in an otherwise difficult campaign for the London side. Across all competitions this season, the winger has contributed a combined total of 21 goals and assists, underlining his importance to the team.

Relegation Threat Could Change Everything

Despite his long-standing loyalty to West Ham, Bowen may soon face an important career decision if the club’s Premier League status disappears.

The 29-year-old has become a fan favourite since arriving from Hull City in January 2020. His connection with supporters strengthened even further after scoring the decisive goal in West Ham’s Conference League final triumph over Fiorentina in 2020.

Although Bowen is believed to enjoy life in London and has remained committed to the club through difficult periods, relegation could force a reassessment of his future ambitions.

The winger is also hoping to secure a place in England’s squad for the upcoming World Cup announcement on Friday, adding further attention to his strong form this season.

Liverpool, United and Chelsea Weigh Their Options

Liverpool have admired Bowen for some time and could revisit their interest as they search for additional attacking depth. His work rate, direct style and ability to play across multiple positions are seen as qualities that fit well within their system.

Manchester United are also exploring attacking reinforcements after securing qualification for next season’s Champions League. Bowen’s versatility is particularly attractive to United’s recruitment staff. While he is most comfortable on the right flank, he is capable of operating through the middle and has even been considered as an option for the left side of attack.

Chelsea, meanwhile, are another club keeping tabs on developments. Although the Stamford Bridge side have largely prioritised younger signings in recent transfer windows, there is growing recognition of the need for greater experience within the squad.

Their interest has not yet progressed into advanced discussions, but Bowen is viewed internally as someone who could strengthen competition on the wing while also offering cover in central attacking areas.

West Ham Facing Financial Pressure

West Ham’s financial position is adding further uncertainty to the situation. Bowen remains tied to a long-term contract running until 2030, which would normally place the club in a strong negotiating position.

However, relegation would significantly weaken their leverage in the market.

There is no clear indication yet regarding the transfer fee West Ham would demand, though pressure to generate funds could force difficult decisions quickly if demotion is confirmed later this week.

Bowen is not the only player attracting attention from elsewhere. Portugal midfielder Mateus Fernandes has admirers at Arsenal, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain, while Dutch winger Crysencio Summerville is also expected to be available for transfer.

Even survival may not completely solve the club’s financial concerns. West Ham recorded losses of £104.2m during the previous financial year, meaning player sales are likely to remain part of their summer plans regardless of division.

Their fate could be sealed soon. Should Tottenham earn at least one point from either of their remaining two matches, West Ham’s relegation will be confirmed.
